School Kit Distribution

Dear Friends,

Thank for your enthusiastic support last 1 ½ month in donation collection and kitting of school kits. Now there is more exciting activity i.e. kit distribution. We need to give these school bags to those needy students. Various NGO’s and schools have shared their kit distribution program with us. We earnestly request you and encourage you to take active part in this activity too and see how your donation has been channelized.

School Kit - Last Assembly + Distribution Launch

Dear Seva Sahayogi

Thanks for your continuing support for School Kit assembly activity. We are now ready for distributing them to students through various NGOs.

The last school kit assembly activity will be held on 5th June. The school kits will be handed over to many NGOs (and students) on the same day. The CSR heads, top executives of corporates who have actively supported this drive along with all the NGO’s who would be benefited by this drive are also invited to attend the last assembly activity and distribution of kits. You can also contribute towards the distribution activity by helping in transportation

The kitting activity would start at 9:00 AM as usual at Balshikshan Mandir, Mayur Colony, Kothrud, Pune. The agenda of distribution activity would be shared at the venue.

Come along with your family and friends and join us in the journey to "experience the joy of giving".

Seva Fair 2010 Invitation

Dear Seva Sahayogi,

!!! Greetings for the day !!!

We have started Seva Fair activity last week. This is an exhibition and sale of Diwali and Gift articles made by NGO’s , Women Self-help groups, differently able individual entrepreneurs, individual artists and small vendors from rural India.

Seva Sahayog conduct this sale at various IT and non IT companies in and around Pune.

This week we have planned the fair at 50 different locations in IT and other companies across Pune.

If you are willing to participate in this journey of bringing more Diwali per Diwali, we have following volunteering options between 26th oct-10 to 3rd Nov-10.

  1. Management of stall at different locations (morning 9.00 AM to 6 PM). The transport from Seva Fair office (woodland Kothrud) to company location and back will be arranged. Pl nominate yourself to stand behind stalls with Seva Sahayog staff and core team members.

    1. Material packing, arranging and stores management. This is at Seva fair office, Woodland apartment, commercial complex, near Gandhi Bhavan, Kothrud Pune. The timings are 2.00 Pm to 6.00 PM, 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM

    2. People who are travelling daily to Hinjewadi, Bhosari, Chatushrungi, Nal stop with their Cars can help us carrying material and volunteers from Woodland Kothrud to the respective company and back to Kothrud.

After the successful conclusion of school kits initiative, another opportunity is waiting for you!

Team Seva Sahayog is organizing its “4th Diwali Seva Fair” in various companies in Pune. Via these fairs, we showcase the various products made by our partner NGOs. Seva Fair is a great volunteering opportunity for all of us to connect with our corporate partners and partner NGOs.

Key details about the Seva fair are:-

  • The ‘UTSAV’ will be from 18-Oct-10 to 02-Nov-10.
