Dear Seva Sahayogis,

Since the last three weeks, you all have been participating into the school kit assembly drive, and having lots of fun :). Now is the time to give a little more time, take that extra effort to assemble all the remaining kits and also distribute them over the next two weekends.

So come over to IMCC, Bal Shikshan School this Sunday too, and help the fellow volunteeers.

Dear Seva Sahayogi,

We have been meeting together over the last two Sundays, in the school kit assembly sessions. We did 3600 bags on the first Sunday, and 3700 on the second (along with quality check of 1000+ bags). The target for this week, 5000 school bags. Will we reach that target ? You'll have to come to the venue to know. It definitely won't happen without your help. So please, come, volunteer.

Last week, the kids had a blast assembling erasers, sharpeners, pencils and scales in all colourful boxes. The kids area had become a photographers paradise. Now is the time to repeat that, with 3 times the number of pencil boxes.

The next School Kit Assembly session is going to be held on Sunday 22nd May, at 9:30 AM at the same venue as last week. Attached below is the email sent earlier to give the location details.

The school kit drive is picking up steam at various companies, and most of you have already heard about it from your office co-ordinator. It is now time for all of us to get together and start the hard work of school kit assembly. The assembly consists of getting everything together, and making sure that the bag is ready for delivery.

But it is not all that hard work. Ask any school kit volunteer, and the time that he cherishes is the time spent in school kit assembly (except ofcourse the time when you share a smile with a student when you go for school kit distribution).

Dear Seva Sahayogi,

Last week, we had around 125+ volunteers working to assemble 3600+ school kits.

We also got a pleasant surprise when a group of students who were the recipients of the school kit drive last year came in and wanted to help in the assembly.

This week, from the buzz that we have seen, we are going to have 10 volunteers coming in from Mumbai specially to help into the assembly.

The next School Kit Assembly session is going to be held on Sunday 15th May, at 9:30 AM at the same venue as last week. Attached below is the email from last week to give the location details.

It is that time of the year when we kick start our ‘School Kit 2011’ program, and it is going to be more interesting this year…

Last year, we have successfully collected and distributed 25,000+ School kits. We cordially invite you to be part of this movement this year too!

With the feedback we have received from our volunteers and NGOs, we are planning to include scientific games, Black boards, Laboratory instruments and much more in our School Kit!
