This visit is a good opportunity for the volunteers to learn and get a good exposure of NGOs. The activities to be conducted there include games for Children, Toys making session and an English teaching session.

Beginning of the new year is the time when we take a look at what we have done in the previous year, and what do we need to do for the next year. At Seva Sahayog, we take this as an opportunity to visit the NGOs that we have been associated with, and gather inputs from them.

When we visit the NGOs, we do get first hand information about the challenging situations that they face. Realization of the challenges faced is moving one step closer to solving them. We also get feedback on some of our other initiatives like the school kit, or Seva fair.
Typically, the Seva Darshan is a half day affair, with a small group of 5-10 people going to a particular NGO in and around Pune over a weekend.

It is extremely heartening when a noble cause is appreciated and supported with enthusiasm. Well known philanthropists Shri. Ramprakash Ji and Smt. Gitadevi Podar have done just that.
On 15th November 2011, they have gifted Seva Sahayog Foundation a huge piece of land in Badlapur. The entire land will be utilized to build a home cum vocational training center for children living on railway platforms. This unique project will be managed and operated by Samatol Foundation, a leading NGO which has been working for social welfare for years.
Renowned personalities from Badlapur have expressed their joy and have offered absolute support for success of this project. But at this point financial support is equally important as the estimated cost for this project is a massive 3 crore rupees. The blueprint for the facility has been finalized, but the implementation can begin only when adequate funds have been arranged for.
Therefore we urge you to step forward and help us realize this dream which will put a smile on the faces of children who desire and deserve a good life.

We at Seva Sahayog, seek your attention for the ‘Tree Plantation ‘drive scheduled in the month of August

As all of you are well aware on the far reaching impact of urbanization on the environment. The entire world has woken up to the need of ‘Green legislation’

Seva Sahayog has therefore taken an initiative from last year to plant trees across locations near by Pune in a phased manner. These trees will be planted by corporate volunteers in association with NGOs / schools in Seva Sahayog network who will ensure the nurturing of these trees.
